Terms of Use

Effective 2026-05-19

This page is the authoritative, legally binding version of the iamb Terms of Use. The same text is shown inside the app under Settings → Terms of Use.

Acceptance

By installing or using iamb, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use iamb on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with Apple's standard End User License Agreement and these Terms.

Your Content

You retain all rights to media you import into iamb and clips you export from it. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any source material you use. You agree not to use iamb to create or distribute content that infringes intellectual property, violates the law, or harasses or harms others.

Acceptable Use

Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits. Do not use iamb to develop a competing product by copying its features or designs.

Disclaimer

iamb is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that exported files will meet your requirements.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of iamb. Our total liability for any claim relating to iamb is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and surface the change in-app on next launch. Continued use after the change constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.

Apple

If you obtained iamb from the Apple App Store, Apple's standard EULA also applies and, in the event of conflict with these Terms, controls. Apple is not responsible for iamb or any claims relating to it.
